Kevin McClellan is a Cincinnati-born bassist, and Graduate of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. he spent six months studying traditional Brazilian music with Bassist Zé Alexandre. While in Brazil, he performed regularly with a samba jazz trio, led by the great Brazilian drummer Helder Samara. He has recorded and performed with a wide range of musicians across many genres, including Steve Wilson, Bob Shepherd, Joe LaBarbera, Vardan Ovsepian, Miroslav Tadic, and Larry Koonse.
