The Nasty Nati Brass Band (NNBB), founded in 2012 and led by Trumpeter Mike Wade, consists of a nine-member ensemble of brass, saxophones and drums. Many of the songs they cover are Jazz, Blues, R&B and Rock rearranged and orchestrated to give it their own ‘Nasty Nati’ style. The band’s inspiration is from a long tradition of Brass Bands from New Orleans, as well as marching bands from historically Black colleges and R&B funk Bands such as Earth Wind and Fire, Chuck Brown and others
