Phil DeGreg Trio ft. Emily Grace Jordan (late set)

Phil DeGreg is a Cincinnati-based pianist who has made his mark in the jazz world over the past four decades as a recording artist, composer, and pedagogue. He has toured with The Woody Herman Orchestra and performed with Randy Brecker, Ira Sullivan, Claudio Roditi, J.J. Johnson, Harry Allen, Conrad Herwig, and many others. He has released 12 albums as a leader.

Emily Grace Jordan is a vocalist, educator and instrumentalist based in Cincinnati, OH. Growing up in Washington, DC, Emily attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts High School. After a year studying abroad in Germany, she relocated to Cincinnati to pursue her bachelors degree in music education at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. While at CCM, she studied Saxophone under James Bunte, and played in both classical and jazz ensembles. At this time, Emily began to develop a passion for jazz vocals. She pursued this passion by taking private vocal lessons, in addition to personally studying the stylings of classic jazz vocalists including: Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday, and began singing with the CCM Lab Band, Jazz ensemble, and jazz combos. In addition to monthly appearances at Schwartz's Point with the JJJ Jazz! trio, Emily teaches primary music in the Winton Woods school district.
